Hello Larimer County Families!

The coaches at Leading Learners are excited to kick off our Youth FUN Program for two groups of local middle school students, ages 10-11 and 12-13.

  • Not sure what you want to do outside of school?

  • Wanting to explore more of Fort Collins and spend time outside?

We are offering this exciting opportunity for students who are ready for new adventures, a variety of fun experiences, and time with local friends this summer. Spend your days discovering, creating and enjoying your time away from school.

Let’s Go! Our friendly coaches and mentors will participate in every class !

  • Become a mad scientist!

  • Learn to cook exotic cuisine!

  • Explore the outdoors!

  • Let’s have FUN!

Summer sessions are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm

 Students can bring their own lunches and eat together with their summer leaders. Free healthy snacks and herbal tea always available.

Monday, June 6th First Day! Meet at Leading Learners at 9:45am!

  • 10am Social Hour Meet your new group of friends and get to know your summer leaders! Take a tour of Galvanize and ask any questions about the schedule.
  • 10:45am RESPECT Carol Anne Lucero, our Summer Leader, will share guidelines and lead a discussion on Respect and Community.
  • 11am Decorate & Plant Decorate and paint your own garden pot and plant basil to watch grow over the summer and possibly use as an ingredient in another fun class!
  • 12pm Lunch
  • 1pm Painting Class Begin an art project to submit for display with the ArtLab Youth Gallery

  • 1pm Scavenger Hunt for native Colorado plants at Horsetooth Falls

Friday, June 10th

  • 10am Science Lab Make your own CLOUD and Psychedelic Flowers
