People in education seem to be more than willing to underestimate the learning and growing power of kids. I believe this is one of the biggest mistakes made by educators. It is easy to say that a student is not capable, but the learning power of students is amazing. Imagine what students could do if they were told they can more often than they are told that they can’t?
Below are links to stories about amazing kids. They show the abilities of a young mind to think, question, produce, and create. All students are as capable as the ones below, we just need to recognize and encourage it!
