Marissa Chaney

Marissa is the Director of Education and Executive Function Coach for Leading Learners. Marissa earned three Bachelor of Arts Degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning. Marissa is a certified K-12 Teacher and has experience teaching preschool through college levels. She is a passionate educator and a devoted life long student. Marissa has experience teaching Spanish, AP History, AP World History, History, Psychology, Writing and World Literature and more. In addition, she is certified to teach an anti-bullying program and is trained in many various techniques in educating students. Marissa is devoted to helping students with various learning differences/disabilities as well as aid in the creation of IEP/504’s as a legal advocate. As an Executive Function Specialist, Marissa guides students to strengthen their planning skills, time management, metacognition, focus, memory, prioritization, goal setting/achieving, study techniques, test taking techniques and how to manage juggling multiple tasks successfully.
